Organizations, not seats
Each organization has its own domains, inboxes, people and balance. Starting another one for a side venture costs almost nothing.
Web app or your mail apps
Read and send in the K8 HQ web app, or use Apple Mail, Outlook, Thunderbird and phone mail apps over standard IMAP and SMTP, each with its own access token. Scripts and your own AI tools can use the K8 HQ API with their own tokens. Moving in? Import your old mail from an export file.
Encrypted at rest
Every message is encrypted with its own key as it arrives. Spam and malware are rejected before anything is stored.
Pay for what you use
Prepaid credit with clear per-use prices, plus $1 a month (or $10 a year) for each verified domain. Unused purchased credit is refundable.
Meet K8, your built-in assistant
K8 is part of every K8 HQ organization. Ask in plain language how to set something up, and K8 does the legwork:
- Proposes folders, rules and auto-replies, people, roles and invitations, inbox settings and forwarding. Nothing changes until you approve it.
- Explains your usage and costs, and answers questions about how K8 HQ works.
- Watches for problems with your email, like someone else sending as your domain, and explains in plain language what's wrong and how to fix it.
K8 works with your permissions, never more, and approvals take your passkey. It's billed per use like everything else, and your data is never used to train AI models.

What K8 HQ is not
K8 HQ is for real people's business correspondence. It is not a bulk or marketing email service, and accounts that send unsolicited mail are paused.
